The value of Egypt’s gas exports rose 19.7 percent to $1.97 billion in the period of January to November 2012 compared with the same period a year earlier, El Shorouk newspaper reported, citing a report by the Cabinet.
The North African country’s natural-gas output dropped 0.09 percent and its local consumption of the fuel rose 61.6 percent in the same period, according to the Cairo-based newspaper.
