Finance Minister: We stick to pushing up growth, decreasing budget deficit

The Ministry of Finance has completed preparation for the initial final accounts for the budget of FY 2012/2013, as the indications showed that the total deficit has greatly risen recording EGP 239.9 billion which represents 13.8% of the GDP, against EGP 166.7 billion in the 2011-2012 FY.

Minister of Finance Ahmed Galal said that Beblawi’s government adheres to pushing up the growth rates as a package of measures has been announced for activating the national economy.
