Finance Ministry: 4.5 % increase in public revenues

The monthly report of the Finance Ministry asserted the improvement in the Egyptian economy conditions despite the retreat in the State’s revenues from economic corporations at a rate of 17% during the period from July 2012 to May 2013.

Yet the increase in tax revenues at a rate of 14.1% during the said period has contributed to increasing the aggregate public revenues at a rate of 4.5 per cent, to achieve EGP 271.3bn.
